Instructions:
- First, we wrap the base of the wreath with twigs and fasten them with a weak wire.
- We attach the twigs to the base and slowly wrap them around.
- It is necessary to tighten properly so that the twigs do not break.
- Therefore, do not be afraid to ask someone from the family to hold the foundation for you and you can fasten everything better.
- If a wire is peeking out somewhere, it is enough to insert additional twigs into the wreath, which will cover the wire and at the same time decorate the wreath.
Decorating a wreath:
- Once you have the wreath base ready, you can start decorating it.
- To place the candles, it is recommended to use a small cup.
- In the cup, there is a small dagger that you should insert into the pre-prepared hole in the candle. Afterward, stick the whole thing into the base of the wreath.
- When it comes to decorating, there are no limits to imagination.
- Ornaments, cones, spices, and other decorations can be placed anywhere. Some people prefer symmetry, while others prefer the opposite.
Christmas door wreath
This wreath with a pin on the door is ready in minutes, but at the same time, it will nicely decorate the house or the entrance door to the apartment.
What will we need:
- polystyrene wreath (diameter 14 inches)
- burlap cut into thinner strips (approx. 1.2 inches wide and approx. 20 inches long)
- small Christmas decorations
- ribbon in a natural pattern
- melt gun
- string
- donuts
- conifer twigs
How to do it:
- To begin, we need to wrap the entire base of the wreath with the burlap fabric in a regular manner.
- We seal the beginning and the end with a melt gun.
- Attach a bundle of twigs to the selected place, and secure it with a hot melt gun and string.
- Decorate with cones and other small decorations.
- We will make a curtain on the upper part of the wreath.
- We cut the necessary part from the ribbon, weave it through the wreath, and tie it in a knot.
- We will craft a bow using a different piece of ribbon and embellish the upper section.
- The door decoration is ready and we can hang it.
Baked Gingerbread Wreath
You can also scent your home with a gingerbread wreath. If you like to bake, you may be pleasantly surprised. You will need several cookie cutters and two plates of different sizes.
What will we need:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 eggs + 1 egg for spreading
- 3 spoons of honey
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- ½ package of gingerbread spices
- 2 spoons of cocoa
For decorating:
- 3/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon of potato starch
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

How to do it:
- Dissolve the yeast and honey, let it cool, and mix in the egg.
- Then mix in the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough thoroughly, wrap it in cling film, and put it in the fridge overnight.
- The next day, roll out the dough into a pancake, from which we cut out a wreath using plates of different sizes.
- We cut out larger stars, using a round cookie cutter to cut out a place for the candle.
- Cut out other smaller stars to decorate the wreath.
- Put everything on a tray lined with baking paper and bake at 356 °F for about 7-8 minutes.
- After baking, brush the still-warm gingerbread with beaten egg.
- Beat egg whites, sugar, lemon juice, and potato starch into a mixture for decoration.
- We decorate the Advent wreath according to our imagination and glue the stars to the wreath using the material.
- Add candles and a very original wreath is ready.

Non-traditional decorative wreaths made of natural materials

Instructions:
