INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups of oat flakes
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar or flavoring to taste
  • 5 tablespoons of walnuts or hazelnuts
  • handful of raisins (other dried fruits are also possible, for example, cranberries)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 4 tablespoons of rum
  • coconut or cocoa for coating

Method:

  1. Dry roast the oatmeal in a pan, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  2. Mix the roasted and cooled flakes with semolina and vanilla sugar. Add finely chopped nuts, raisins, rum, and butter cut into small pieces.
  3. Work the mixture well and add honey if necessary.
  4. Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for an hour.
  5. Form balls from the rested dough and wrap them in a bowl with grated coconut or cocoa.
  6. You can also decorate the oat balls to achieve more color options. Store the finished oatmeal balls in the cold.

Coconut Oatmeal Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup oat flakes
  • 1 egg

Method:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup oat flakes
  • 1/3 cup of butter

  • a small handful of raisins

METHOD

  1. Mix the oatmeal with plain flour and a little cinnamon, then add the other ingredients and make the dough.
  2. We make small balls from it, which we then press into patties.
  3. Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in an oven heated to 350°F.
  4. Ćheck continuously, and in about 10-15 minutes, the patties will start to turn golden – at that moment, take them out of the oven – they would harden unpleasantly if they bake longer!

Healthy oat stacks

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of oatmeal
  • 2 cups of melted butter
  • 2 cups of cane sugar

METHOD
