INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups of oat flakes
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 vanilla sugar or flavoring to taste
- 5 tablespoons of walnuts or hazelnuts
- handful of raisins (other dried fruits are also possible, for example, cranberries)
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 4 tablespoons of rum
- coconut or cocoa for coating
Method:
- Dry roast the oatmeal in a pan, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
- Mix the roasted and cooled flakes with semolina and vanilla sugar. Add finely chopped nuts, raisins, rum, and butter cut into small pieces.
- Work the mixture well and add honey if necessary.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for an hour.
- Form balls from the rested dough and wrap them in a bowl with grated coconut or cocoa.
- You can also decorate the oat balls to achieve more color options. Store the finished oatmeal balls in the cold.
Coconut Oatmeal Cookies
Oatmeal cookies are a year-round staple, but coconut gives them a Christmas twist.
Other times, you can also enhance the cookies with a little fragrant cinnamon.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup oat flakes
- 1 egg
- 5 tablespoons of milk
- 1 tablespoon of honey or cane sugar
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- handful of grated coconut
- 1/2 cup of dried fruit to taste (cranberries, raisins, apricots, plums, etc.)
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients, including the dried fruit cut into smaller pieces.
- Let the finished dough rest for a quarter of an hour.
- Shape the dough into balls of the same size with wet hands and flatten them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Press the balls on the tray slightly with your fingers.
- Bake the cookies at 350°F until they are slightly reddish.

- 1 cup oat flakes
- 1/3 cup of butter
- 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- a small handful of raisins

METHOD
- Mix the oatmeal with plain flour and a little cinnamon, then add the other ingredients and make the dough.
- We make small balls from it, which we then press into patties.
- Bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in an oven heated to 350°F.
- Ćheck continuously, and in about 10-15 minutes, the patties will start to turn golden – at that moment, take them out of the oven – they would harden unpleasantly if they bake longer!

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of oatmeal
- 2 cups of melted butter
- 2 cups of cane sugar
- 1/2 cup of fine spelled flour
- 2 spoons of honey
- 2 eggs
- a handful of raisins
METHOD
- Beat the eggs with cane sugar in a bowl, then add the other ingredients and form a dough. If the mass crumbles, add a little honey.
- Chip off small piles from the dough (you can use a spoon), which you do not modify in any way.
- Place the stacks directly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 320°F for about 5 – 10 minutes, keeping an eye on when they start to turn golden – take them out at that moment.
