Simple Christmas pine cone decorations
Where else do cone decorations belong, but where do they come from, i.e., on the tree? Christmas decorations made of pine cones look natural and, at the same time, funny because they are hung upside down!
What you will need:
- a few pine cones
- liquid glue and a brush
- glitters
- small clips with an eyelet at the end
- fabric ribbons
- string
Method:
- Carefully coat the cones with liquid glue and sprinkle thoroughly with glitter.
- Tap off excess glitter. Allow to dry completely.
- Screw a clip with an eyelet onto the underside of the cone. You can use pliers or pre-drill small holes.
- Thread the string onto the eyelet to hang the ornament.
- Tie a decorative ribbon around the string.
A tree made of pine cones
Why not make an entire Christmas tree out of pine cones? You will enjoy making it, and unlike the classic one, you don’t have to be afraid of prickly needles.
You can use it as a stylish decoration on the table. Unlike an Advent wreath, it will last much longer.
What you will need:
- pine cones
- liquid glue and a brush
- glitter for a sparkling tree or spray paint for a colorful tree
- melt gun
- Thursday
- old newspaper
- paper cake tray
- cardboard
Method:
- Glue the cones with glitter according to the instructions in the previous DIY, or paint them with spray paint. You can leave some cones naturally.
- Shape a quarter into a cone and fill it with old newspaper.
- Make a stand from a cake tray and glue it to the cone.
- Gradually glue the pine cones onto the resulting base with a hot melt gun to form the shape of a tree.
- You can decorate the Christmas tree made of pine cones by gluing small ornaments.

Method:
- Attach the cones to the styrofoam ball all around using a hot melt gun, filling the surface as much as possible.
- Attach the hanging ribbon to the top of the ball.
- You can stick it on with a hot melt gun or pin it on with a long pin.
- Use a hot melt gun to attach the rest of the pine cones and let dry.

Christmas creations from cones for children
Children love colors, and plain donuts might seem a bit boring. Use them to make cheerful green trees from pine cones, which will perfectly decorate not only the children’s room!
It will take only a few minutes to make and be fun for them. And you will have some time to drink a glass of mulled wine.
What you will need:
- a few pine cones
- self-hardening material
- yogurt cups
- liquid glue and a brush
- green glitter
- artificial snow
- hot glue gun
- colored beads of a larger size
Method:
- Make low bowls from yogurt cups by cutting the sides of the cup.
- Press the self-hardening mass into the resulting bowl.
- Allow the self-hardening material to dry according to the instructions on the package.
- Once the mass is arid, remove the crucible. Now, you have created the perfect donut stand.
- Coat the cone on all sides with liquid glue and carefully sprinkle with green sequins.
- Use a hot melt gun to glue the colored bead ornaments onto the trees.
