What will you need:
- Snowflake ornaments (up to 30 snowflakes used – depends on the size of the snowflakes and how big you want your snowman to be)
- Garland
- Buttons
- Orange felt
- Black felt
- String or ribbon for hanging
- Melt gun
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Arrange your snowflakes into 3 different sized circles (small, medium, and large)
- Glue all your snowflakes together in your 3 round shapes
- Stack and glue your 3 round snowflake shapes together to form the body
- Glue the buttons to the eyes with a hot melt gun and then also to the 3 buttons on the body
- Cut out a snowman hat from black felt and glue
- Cut out a carrot nose from the orange felt and glue it on
- Add ribbon or string to the back to hang the snowman from
Door Flask with a handwritten inscription
What could be better than making your own Christmas door decoration? In addition, you can paint or write anything you want on this flask!
What will you need:
- Hard cardboard
- A pencil
- Scissors
- Box cutter
- Melt gun
- Acrylic paints
- Bows
- String for hanging
- Twigs
Instructions:
- Draw the shape of the flask on the hard cardboard, so that the ball is perfectly round, you can outline the plate
- Place the cardboard on the mat and use a folding knife to cut out the bulb
- If you have someone skilled in your family, they can cut the flask for you from a thin OSB board. Your decoration will last longer.
- Draw pictures or write text on the flask using tempera or acrylic paints. There are no limits to creativity!
- If you want, you can cut stars into the flask, for example.
- Let the colors dry thoroughly.
- Using a hot melt gun, glue the twigs and bow to the top of the flask
- Once dry, add string to the back so you can hang the ornament.
If you have decided on the option with an OSB board, you can use wooden letters that you stick with a hot melt gun instead of writing the inscription.

Christmas characters all over the door
This decoration will delight especially small children! What child wouldn’t want to have a giant snowman or other winter character all over their bedroom door?
What will you need:
- Paper the size of the door (white)
- A pencil
- Scissors
- Black paper
- Orange paper
- Double-sided adhesive tape
Instructions:
- Cut out 2 circles with a diameter of about 6 inches and 9 smaller circles with a diameter of about 4 inches from black paper.
- Cut out a carrot-shaped triangle from the yellow paper.
- Cut out 1 strip about 8 inches wide and the same length as your door from the wrapping paper.
- Then cut 2 more strips of 8 inches wide and approx. 16 inches long from the same wrapping paper.
- If you don’t have a white door, use double-sided tape to stick white paper on the door
- Glue the 2 largest black circles to the top of the door, these will be the eyes
- Stick an orange carrot under the eyes
- Glue 5 smaller black circles into the shape of the mouth
- Strips of colored paper under them so that they look like a scarf
- Then glue the remaining black rings to the bottom so that they look like buttons

What will you need:
- 5 eucalyptus stem
- Bells
- Ribbons made of natural material
- Jute string
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Tie a jute string to the bells
- Tie the eucalyptus stems and bluebell string together with jute string

Hanging paper candle in wreath
A simple Christmas decoration to hang, which you can easily make even with children. You can hang it inside or outside on the front door.
You will need:
- Polystyrene circle
- Red ribbon
- Green paper
- Red paper
- Orange paper
- 3 larger red pearls or beads
- A pencil
- Scissors
- Melt gun
Instructions:
- Draw 2 rectangles on red paper – one larger and the other smaller. Those will be the candles
- Cut out the rectangles.
- Draw 2 flames on the orange paper – one bigger and the other smaller. Choose the size so that it fits the candles.
- Cut out these flames.
- Draw 5 leaves on green paper. Choose the size again in proportion to the size of the candles.
- Cut out the leaves.
- Use a hot melt gun to glue the flames to the candles.
- Glue all 5 leaves to the bottom of the polystyrene circle.
- Then stick the candles on these leaves.
- Glue 3 red beads under the candle on the leaves.
- Tie a bow from the red ribbon.
- Glue a bow to the top of the circle.
- Using a hot melt gun, glue a ribbon eye to the back of the circle to hang on the door.

Hanging glowing Christmas star
The star is undoubtedly one of the most used Christmas decorations. We can hang it on the door together with lights.
This shining star has a simple design but is guaranteed to attract attention thanks to the lights.
You will need:
- 5 wooden sticks of the same length (we recommend 30 – 40 cm)
- Melt gun
- Jute string
- Battery operated string lights
Instructions:
- Use a hot melt gun to glue the ends of the sticks so that it has a star shape.
- Glue a loop of jute string to one of the tops of the star, it will be used for hanging.
- Wrap the light chain around the star.
- Glue the part of the light chain that contains the batteries to the opposite side of the star so that it does not get in the way.
This star doesn’t just have to hang on the door, you can for example lean it against the wall in the interior.
