Place des Dominicains – Colmar Christmas Market at Dominican Square
Colmar’s largest Christmas market is located at Dominican Square. The stunning, beautifully illuminated Dominican church dominates the market scene. You can also admire its remarkable 14th-century stained glass windows after dark thanks to the soft lighting. The square features around 60 stalls where you can purchase a variety of items, including mulled wine with Alsatian spices, Christmas specialties, gifts for your loved ones, and sumptuous Christmas decorations.
Give the gift of a Christmas bauble from the famous Meisenthal crystal works. The glassworks created the very first glass Christmas baubles, and the number of baubles created each year is limited.

Old Customs House Christmas Market – Place de l’Ancienne Douane
This market is located around the beautiful Schwendi Fountain in the Old Customs House Square. Place de l’Ancienne features approximately 50 chalets that offer a variety of items, including traditional Alsatian crafts, handmade gifts, and local delicacies. As night falls, the former Customs House (Koïfhus) and its tiled roof are beautifully illuminated, enhancing the charm of the area.

Joan of Arc Square Christmas Market – Place Jeanne d’Arc Christmas Market
Located at Place Jeanne d’Arc, this market resembles a traditional Alsatian village. The market has an intimate feel and features Christmas houses, a church, and a small herd of goats. You can enjoy, for example, the local specialty foie gras, cold meats, wine, brandy, or Christmas gingerbread.

Children’s Christmas Market in Little Venice – Petite Venise Christmas Market
If you want to give your little one a true children’s paradise, visit the market in Little Venice in Colmar. Live rabbits and sheep roam around the stalls, and a mechanical manger is on display for everyone to admire.
