Leeds Christmas Markets
Last year, the Leeds Christmas Markets returned after a two-year break, featuring a new setup with delicious food, plenty of gifts, and pop-up bars in 14 locations.
The markets will return this year, bringing festive cheer to the city but there is a big change this year: the markets will move from 14 locations to just two.
All stalls and bars will be in Millennium Square and City Square, so you can enjoy the fun without too much walking.
Advent markets in Millennium Square and City Square
The Millennium Square market will be combined with Ice Cube, running from Friday, 22nd November to Tuesday, 31st December 2024, creating a large festive playground that extends into Victoria Gardens.

Leeds Wheel of Light, Victoria Gardens
The Wheel of Light is back at Victoria Gardens this November for a fantastic Christmas event.
Want to enjoy great views of the city? Ride the big wheel, which is beautifully lit up and offers stunning views of Leeds decorated with Christmas lights. The wheel stands 110 feet tall and is a great way to experience the festive atmosphere from the center of Leeds.

The highlight is the 400 sqm outdoor ice rink on Millennium Square, covered by a stylish marquee, so you can skate rain or shine! Kids under 9 can join the Penguin Club for fun skate lessons with cute penguin aids, and there are one-on-one lessons available on weekends.
Don’t miss out on delicious festive treats from the Bavarian-style market stalls, like German bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, and sweet goodies like churros and toasted marshmallows.
Plus, chill out at the alpine-inspired Ski Bar with its 4-meter-high illuminated Ski Bear—perfect for warming up with a drink and soaking in the festive vibes!
