Small decorative snowmen

This Christmas decoration will not take you more than a few minutes, and even children can make their snowmen.

What you will need:

• polystyrene balls in two sizes
• artificial snow, you can also use grated coconut
• liquid glue
• brush
• skewer
• pins with colored heads
• colorful ribbons

Method:

1. Thread a smaller ball onto a skewer.
2. Thoroughly coat the ball with glue over the surface and cover it in artificial snow. Let dry.
3. Do the same with the other, bigger ball.
4. Thread both balls onto one skewer and break off the remaining end.
5. Use colored pins to create eyes and buttons for the snowman.
6. Finally, tie a colorful ribbon scarf around your neck.

You can also decorate the snowman with hands made of twigs and “carrots” made of wire wrapped with orange bristles.

Christmas glowing snowman

Candy snowmen

Sweet pastries and sweets are an essential part of Christmas. Be original this year and offer your guests delicious cupcakes decorated with a snowman. You will surely reap success not only with children!

Ingredients:

Dough:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup semi-coarse flour
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 teaspoons of baking powder
• pinch of salt
• 1/2 cup softened butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups of milk
• a teaspoon of vanilla extract

Cream:

• 1/2 cup softened butter
• 1 cup of cranberries
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• muffin tin
• paper cups

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 356 °F.
2. Mix the liquid ingredients (butter, eggs, and milk) in a bowl.
3. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla extract, and make a smooth dough.
4. Place the paper cups in the muffin tin and fill them three-quarters full with the batter.
5. Bake for about 25 minutes and then remove from the oven.
6. Allow to cool completely so that the cream does not melt when decorating.
7. Mix all the listed ingredients for the cream.
8. Fill a decorating bag with the cream and decorate the cooled muffins. Do not refrigerate the cream before decorating; it will harden too much and be challenging to work with.

To decorate the finished cupcakes, you can use snowmen made according to the instructions for Christmas snowman decoration, which we described above.

Give each of them a different colored scarf so guests can easily recognize them after eating the cake. Attach the snowman to the cupcake using a toothpick inserted from the bottom.

Sock snowman

Use knitted socks not only to warm cold feet! Make round snowmen out of them according to our instructions. A handmade snowman will serve as a perfect Christmas decoration.

What you will need:

• 1 white sock
• 1 colored sock
• 2 rubber bands
• 2 black buttons
• 2 black beads or large round pins
• 5 black ball pins
• 1 orange wire with bristles
• pebbles or rice as weights
• fibrous stuffing for stuffing
• scissors

Method:

• Cut the white heel sock straight. Place pebbles or rice in the tip as a weight.
• Stuff the sock with plenty of fiber stuffing.
• Use a rubber band to tie the top part and use the other rubber band to create a snowman shape.
• Cut the colored sock straight across the heel.
• Make a cap from the front part of a colored sock, roll up the bottom part, and make a cuff.
• Cut the other part of the sock at an angle to create a long piece of fabric for the scarf.
• Complete the snowman with pins for the eyes, a small piece of orange wire for the nose, pins for the mouth, and buttons.
• Secure everything with hot glue.
