What will you need for the Linnaeus cookies?
- 200 g of rye flour
- 50 g cane sugar
- 100 g vegetable fat
- 1 egg yolk
- zest of half a lemon
- jam to taste for sticking
How to prepare cookies from rye flour?
- Thoroughly wipe off the sugar, vegetable fat or butter and lemon zest.
- Add flour and make a smooth dough.
- Roll out the rested dough and cut out any shapes you like.
- Bake the Linnaeus cookies at 180 °C for approximately 10 minutes.
- Cover the cooled cookies with jam. For a change, you can try, for example, lemon.
Spelled cookies from Linz
You will immediately like sweets with spelled flour. Why? Well, because you can prepare it as easily as the classic one!
What will you need for the Linnaeus cookies?
- 400 g spelled flour
- 200 g of softened butter
- 100 g cane sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- half a teaspoon of cinnamon
- jam for sticking
How do you make spelled cookies?
- Mix the loose ingredients, then add the rest.
- We work out a smooth mass, which we then leave to rest – the longer, the better, even until the next day.
- Roll out the dough and cut out your favorite shapes.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 10 minutes, remove when the cookies start to turn golden.
- Wait until it cools down and then combine with the selected marmalade.
Linnaeus oatmeal cookies
Oatmeal is not only suitable for breakfast porridge. Even during the Christmas season, they should get the word out if you don’t want to throw away your year-long efforts to get a nice figure.
What will you need for the Linnaeus cookies?
- 125 g oat flakes
- 100 g whole wheat flour
- 85 g vegetable fat
- 85 g cane sugar
- water as needed
How do you make oatmeal cookies?
- Grind the oatmeal into flour in a blender and mix it with wholemeal flour. Add the softened vegetable fat.
- Bring some water with cane sugar to a boil in a saucepan and boil.
- Pour the mixture into the flour and fat.
- Work the dough thoroughly. It will be quite thin, so put it in the fridge to harden.
- Roll out the hardened dough, use wholemeal flour for flouring.
- You can cut out classic shapes from the Line dough, but you can also use atypical cutters.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for approximately 7 minutes.

- 100 g artificial sweetener suitable for baking, if you use sweetener in tablets, use 6 – 8 tablets
- 2 egg yolks
- lemon peel
- dia marmalade
How do you prepare the line?
- Here, too, the procedure is the same as for any other Linz.
- With artificial sweetener, we follow our own experience, if it seems too sweet to us, we use a smaller amount. If we use tablets, we first dissolve them with a little water.
- We mix all the ingredients and make a smooth mass.
- Let it sit in the cold.
- Then roll the dough into a thin sheet and cut out your favorite shapes.
- Place the Linn cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 10 minutes, take out when it starts to turn pink.
- After cooling, we combine the sugar with jam suitable for diabetics.

We can use any of the above recipes, the most important factor here is the choice of flour.
We work with plain gluten-free flour and use it in the ratio indicated in the selected recipe.
We can also choose whether we want to make a healthier version with cane sugar, or we prefer to try the classic with powdered sugar.
