Embracing peanuts in the kitchen

Many of us enjoy consuming peanuts in their roasted and salted form, but there’s a healthier alternative. Despite being legumes and not nuts, Peanuts are incredibly nutritious, packed with protein, unsaturated fatty acids, B vitamins, and minerals.

Fresh-shelled peanuts are often used in preparing peanut candy, ground into peanut flour.

Moreover, peanuts can be incorporated into smoothies and added to Asian meat mixes.

How to create homemade peanut butter?

Another category of peanut candy recipes involves the use of peanut butter.

You can either purchase it or easily prepare it at home by roasting fresh peanuts in a pan and mixing them with a small amount of salt until a creamy consistency is achieved.
